"Max is our first Shiloh and was born in May 2009 at Crossroad Shilohs in Ontario. He is an exuberant, loving boy who has yet to meet anyone he doesn't consider his best friend at first sight. We've tried quite a few different activities with him, figuring out which ones he enjoys the most. So far he's been able to compete in the show ring, try out some agility courses, take a herding lesson, practice obedience training and even run an Iron Dog competition sponsored by the Vermont State Police. Max has earned his CGC and did wonderfully on his temperament test, so our next goal is therapy certification. One of my dearest wishes is to be able to visit wounded soldiers and veterans with my fluff-monster."

Name: Ridgewood's Bosker

"We recently moved to this house, on the farm where we work. Nicer house, but sadly it has a MUCH smaller yard. We weren't sure how he and the other dogs were going to adjust with having cows, literally, in their backyard. Bosker has amazed us all with how well he took things in stride, and the girls (aka the cows) love him right back. They'll hangout along the fenceline together, and Bosker will even bring him his toys and try to entice them into playing. Surprisingly, sometimes they do try!
Bosker is a sweetheart, as you can tell. He'd cover anything in kisses if it stops moving long enough! He is almost a year and a half, and is the biggest puppy that I've ever known, personality wise. He is also a talker and then some! He just adores his "brother" Kedge, a 2 year old Australian Shepherd. These two are almost inseparable, and seeing them together just makes my heart melt. Even more shocking is that they are both still intact, but will cuddle, play, share bones and toys, or even wash each other's faces. Here I was nervous about the idea!
Bos has also helped our son get over the loss of our old GSD, Faust. Spencer is HIS kid through and through. Bos knows the bus schedule and will start whining when it's time for him to get home. God help us on the days that Spencer has after school activities. Once I made the mistake of bringing Bos to work in the afternoon, and he started carrying on when it was time for his kid to get off the bus. Needless to say, I had to have Spencer walk over and bring him home with him. The love that he has for his kids, his family and just about everything in general, touches me so. I just can't express how thankful I am for being introduced to this wonderful breed."
