"Bobbie is a feminine lass, quite a bitch! She never met a boy dog she couldn’t boss around. But, when push comes to shove, she’s a woos. She allows herself to be pushed around by other bitches, canine and human alike (and human men too). She can be a touch aloof, but when she wants to, she is the most affectionate dog I know. When she cuddles, she actually stays there even when you stop petting her!
As you can see from her own web site (www.BobbieZ.com), she has grown into a gorgeous golden sable adult. Bobbie was a big pup (17 lbs. at eight weeks) who became a petit adult (barely 90 lbs., soaking wet, and approximately 26" at the shoulder. She is an intrepid fetcher - the best we've ever had, including our late Golden Retriver. Bobbie is extremely gentle and affectionate. She loves her brother, Bully (www.BullwinkleX.com). Though he is much larger than she, Bobbie is totally in charge of Bully and very protective of her baby brother. Bobbie can be a pathetic crybaby, whining when she doesn't get what she wants, but is usually pretty well behaved. She's a voracious eater, consuming mass quantities reminiscent of a Shop Vac. But she remains quite svelte and athletic. Don't hate her for that."
