We cannot imagine there being a better dog companion in all the world. Midas' regal presence hides the fact that he has a wonderful sense of humor. He has no idea of his size, and when he runs through the house it's common to hear someone yell, "hold onto something!"
His kisses can wash your whole face, his howls are beautiful, he gives wonderful hugs. Favorite snacks are lamb lungs, ice cream, and hamburgers. He sleeps by us every night. His enjoys going for long walks, having his feet rubbed and scratched, napping on the couch, and playing with his girl Breeze. He dislikes hot weather,
hyperactive neighborhood dogs, and having his nails cut. Midas tolerates going to dog shows, but comes alive when he goes herding. He can do lots of tricks and 'speaks' when he wants something (we swear he can say I love you). He and Breeze blessed us with 8 puppies last year that look like him. He thinks his job is guarding the back yard, and he's good at it! But, most of all, he is Kelsey's
best friend and the love of her life. I think it's mutual.
