"Wow! We are so excited about winning the photo contest this month! There were so many great entries of beautiful Shiloh puppies. Thanks to all of you who voted! This photo was taken on Tucker's first full day at our home almost two years ago. When I got home with him, I opened the crate door and Tucker bounced out and right into my husband's arms with loads of licky licks. The only words my husband could muster were "Wow" look at the size of those paws!Tucker has grown into those big paws and makes a wonderful ambassador for the Shiloh breed. Since there are very few Shilohs in our area, he causes quite a stir when we take him out in public. People are drawn to him first because of his size and appearance. Then upon meeting him they are amazed at his low key, friendly personality. We just smile and tell them that this is what Shilohs are bred to be!
Tucker is our second potato chip. He has slid effortlessly into our lives and hearts. Our first Shiloh (Neely) thinks he is still the best squeaky toy ever! We will be forever grateful to the late Bill Drummond and his wife, Dotty, of Smokey Mountain Shiloh Shepherds for breeding their Josey Wales with Livesay's Natasha so that we could be blessed by having this awesome boy to share our lives with. We're also very thankful to Deb Dennis of Bolo Shiloh Shepherds who had the knowledge of the lines and the instincts to know what a fantastic outcome this pairing would have. "
