June 2007 :What My Shiloh Loves To Do

Call Name: Elvis
Name: Glorious Elvis Von Europa
Owners: Siegi Belz
Sire: CJ's Lobo Amado De Windsong
Dam: India's Princess Jewel Of Oasis
Location: Waterford, VA
Photographer: Siegi Belz

Elvis is from a Lobo/Jewel litter bred by Ben Landfeld in Ohio. I had seen pictures of Lobo with two of his sons, Dylan and Ben, and knew that I wanted a dog of the same quality. Five months later Elvis was born and within two months of that he joined our family of three GSDs, two cats, and lots of horses (I'm a breeder) in Waterford, VA. We have a 50-acre farm with horses, cats, ponds, woods and wide open spaces - perfect for dogs! Elvis took to farm life right away and is my trusted "helper" when I do my horse chores.

We occasionally took time out to show Elvis but it wasn't until we met Christi Yonavick of P&C Ridgewood Kennel and asked her to show him that he obtained his breed championship. Elvis much prefers life on the farm to a dog show environment.

Elvis has also been bred on several occasions and we're very proud of his kids who all manage to get his good looks and easy-going temperament. We now own one of his sons out of Sunstar's Gone without a Trace, bred by Gale Richardson in Encinitas, CA and couldn't be happier with this dark, dark bi-black and silver Elvis clone named Quinn (Sunstar's Mighty Quinn von
Europa).

You really have to meet Elvis to understand his charm, quality, incredibly cool attitude that isn't shaken by anything, and last but not least his great sense of humor that always manages to put a smile on your face.

P.S.: In the picture you picked he's not so much swimming as "cooling his jets".
